What time is check-in?
Guests can arrive from 4.00pm on the day of arrival. If you want to arrive a little earlier please contact us and we will look into whether we can make a special arrangement.
What time is check-out?
We request guests have checked out by no later than 10.00am on the departure date. Trevase Granary games room must be vacated by 8.30am. We have to start work straight away and our housekeepers will let themselves in at these times, therefore, ask our guests to adhere to these times.
Can I bring a pet?
Unfortunately, strictly no pets are allowed at Trevase Granary or Penblaith Barn. We allow Guide Dogs but ask to be notified.
Do the barns have wi-fi?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available throughout both properties and is free of charge for guests to use.
Do I have to leave a deposit?
Yes. The security deposit is £250 and is taken as a pre-authorisation on the day of arrival from the card used to pay the booking deposit. Following departure it will be released subject to our terms and conditions and provided there are no damaged or missing items.
What happens if I break something?
Any major breakages/damages caused directly by persons staying at the properties over a value of £25 will be charged to the group leader. We accept that minor breakages such as broken glasses do occur, and deal with each case individually.
Can I smoke?
Both properties are strictly non-smoking inside, but both have designated outdoor smoking areas for your use.
How large is the hot tub?
The private hydrotherapy hot tub at each property seats up to 7 people. It is maintained to a very high standard and guests using it can enjoy open views across Herefordshire countryside – a thoroughly relaxing experience!
What is provided for us during our stay?
We aim to provide everything you will need for a comfortable stay (except food, drinks and personal belongings!) Full details of exactly what is included can be found here.
Can you provide additional housekeeping services outside changeover days?
We would be very happy to discuss your requirements: please contact us and let us know what you would ideally like and we will try to organise this for you.
Can we bring an extra person and use a folding bed?
No. Unfortunately the barns can only comfortably accommodate a maximum of 18 guests.
How will I get the keys when I arrive?
We will send you full details of how to access the properties once full payment has been made.
When are short breaks available?
Shorts breaks are available all year round, excluding Christmas and New Year – please visit our availability and pricing.
Do you supply cots and high chairs?
Yes we supply travel cots, high chairs, stair gates and much more – please see our 'Family Features' section for full information.
Is there lots on site to entertain the children?
We aim to have something to keep everybody amused! There is a box full of indoor toys, board games and books, games console as well as outdoor games, bat and balls, football net and games room with pool table, table tennis. You can even hire a range of activities to the property if you are feel like something a bit different!
Is Trevase Granary and Penblaith Barn accessible for people with disabilities or limited mobility?
Both properties have been awarded M1 and M2 by Visit England. Please see our Accessibility information and Accessibility Guide for Trevase Granary and Penblaith Barn for more information.
Are there any pubs or shops close by?
There are several pubs, shops and take-aways in a short driving distance of both properties: please look at our map for more details.
Are towels and bed linen supplied?
Yes. All bed linen and towels are provided (including 6 additional hot tub towels). There is also a washer / dryer in each property.
What type of Coffee Machine do you have?
We have a DeLonghi La Specialista Arte Bean to Cup coffee machine and we provide one pack of locally roasted coffee beans in the Welcome Pack. There are also several cafetieres at the property which use ground coffee (ground coffee not supplied). We also provide a small amount of instant coffee as part of the starter Welcome Pack
