Trevase Holiday Cottages Information

Booking Information

This page contains some of our principal booking conditions, as well as other useful information about your stay. Our full booking conditions will be provided during the booking process.

  • Duration
Weekly bookings run from Friday to Friday. Three-night weekend and four-night midweek short breaks may be offered throughout the year, with change-overs on Fridays and Mondays.
  • Arrival and Departure
Lets run from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival until 10.00 am on the day of departure. The games room at Trevase must be vacated by 9.00 am on the day of departure.
  • Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the rental is payable when booking. No booking shall be treated as complete until the deposit is paid. A reminder email will be sent 12 weeks before your arrival. The balance is payable ten weeks before the arrival date and non-payment of the balance by the due date may be construed as cancellation of the contract. If a booking is made within ten weeks of the arrival date, the rental must be paid in full immediately.
  • Damage / Good Housekeeping Deposit
Upon payment of your balance, £250 must be made available to be held as a good housekeeping / damage deposit. If payment has been made by SagePay this deposit will be held automatically. If not paying by SagePay a card number must be made available. This payment will not be processed if the property is left in a good condition.
You undertake on behalf of yourself, all other members of your party and any visitors to keep the premises and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the premises in the same state of repair and condition as they are in at the commencement of the let (reasonable wear and tear accepted). Guests usually leave the house in a superb condition and leave money for small breakages.
  • Cancellation
Contact us immediately by telephone or email if you have to cancel your holiday. If a cancellation is made after settling the balance a part refund will only be given if the dates in question are re-let. We will endeavour to re-let and if successful will refund the whole (minus admin of up to £50) up to a maximum of the rental we achieve for the re-let, bearing in mind that we may have to discount the rental to achieve a re-let at short notice. Cancellation insurance is available to purchase at the time of booking.
  • Guest information
The names of each guest should be included in the booking process and the age of anyone under 25 must also be recorded. Any additional guests added subsequently must be notified to us and agreed by us in writing . Each property can accommodate up to four extra day guests, who must pay £10 per person per day. Any additional guests over this number must be discussed with Trevase Leisure before your arrival date.
  • Prices
Our prices are in Pounds GB inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Our preferred method of payment is via BACS (sort code 402411, account number 32030802). The main booker can also log on to their booking and pay via SagePay (instructions given online after booking). Payment can also be made on a card over the phone.
